3 months to age 5 (turn 5 during the school year). Summer Session is Mid-May through Mid-August (when school starts back), and is available for ages 3 months to age 8 (turn 8 during the school year).
Registration:
A registration sheet should be completed upon your child’s first visit to the Children’s Day Out Program. Form must be completed before child can stay at Children’s Day Out. We will keep this form on file.
Attendance:
For the happiness and safety of your children, we must limit the number of children we can accommodate each day. Attendance will be on a first come - first serve basis. Signing in each morning is very important. No reservation needed.
Sick Policy:
A child should not attend Children’s Day Out if he or she has been running a fever or vomiting within the last 24 hours, has a colored runny nose, diarrhea, sore throat, persistent cough, eyes that are pink or have any discharge, or if the child has any type of unexplained rash. An emergency contact number must be left with registration.
Additional Info:
Your child will be taught Christian based lessons and Christian songs. We will enjoy play time on the Playground when weather permits. If outside play is not possible we will have games in the Fellowship Hall. Snacks and juice are provided, however no lunch is served.
Behavior Guidelines:
It is our goal that Children’s Day Out be a fun and safe environment for all children. Therefore, if any child shows serious signs of aggression toward others, such as: biting, kicking, scratching, hitting, or throwing things; the Children’s Day Out staff will make every effort to firmly, but gently correct the behavior, along with notifying the parent of the behavior issue. If the behavior should continue, the parent will be notified that the child will not be allowed to return to CDO until the behavior has been corrected by the parent. The child will be given a probationary opportunity to return to show that the behavior has been corrected. If the aggressive behavior continues, the child will not be allowed to return.
