Missions @ Trinity
We invite every member of Trinity to have a passion for sharing Christ through loving others. We take to heart Jesus' Words in Acts 1:8 . . . . . "and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." We believe Jerusalem is our home of Opelika and Lee County, Judea is our state of Alabama, Samaria is our country of America, and the ends of the earth is the World.
With this in mind, Trinity is involved in missions in a personal way by offering financial and spiritual assistance to residents of Lee County through our "We Care" Ministry. We also provide food assistance to children in Lee County through our Feeding God’s Children program. Feeding God’s Children is a summer food program that reaches out to local children by providing breakfast and lunch foods they would normally receive while attending school.
We serve other ways within our state and country through designated mission projects. Another is through Disaster Relief Teams that respond to the crisis of tornado and hurricane damage.
Trinity has a strong heritage of short-term mission trips to Mexico and South America. Teams, consisting of students and adults, have gone out during past years to serve God through building and repair.
We desire to respond to God's love by serving God's people.
